“Tomorrow’s unknown crisis is not something to avoid in fear. It requires our attention and deliberation. We just need to have the courage to face the truth of our future’s uncertainty. We just need to be prepared.”
Though I had been through a few clubs and organizations in my youth, Boy Scouts was always my favorite. And the Boy Scout motto, "Be Prepared", has always stuck with me and has served me well in my life. That is not to say that I have been always prepared for everything, but my life sure is oriented that way. I'm seldom caught completely unaware and completely empty handed. Preparedness, it seems, is more warranted now than ever.
Regardless of where you lie on the political spectrum or how you stand financially, it is obvious fact that we live in tumultuous times. After several years of pandemics, lawlessness, meterological disasters, social unrest and unprecedented government spending (with no end in sight) it would be irresponsible to be completely unprepared for any of the many potential hazardous situations that could arise. This is double true if you have children. As such, I went shopping for SHTF bags, bugout bags, and emergency kits online, and was less than impressed with the options and the value I was able to find. I knew I could do better.
The kits that we have organize on Bug Out Surivival Gear are based on two principles: 1. flexibility in range and application and 2. an uparalleled value for the money. These kits do not contain "everything" one may want, but they cover more than the basics and implement components that will last, can be reused, and serve multiple purposes. Trying to leave the city? Our survival gear will help. Traveling through the wilderness? Our packs will help you weather that journey. The basics of survival, navigation, medical care, shelter, self defence and more are found within each of our kits.
