When we decided to venture into the industry of SHTF bags and survival kits, this was the signature kit we initially developed, both for ourselves and for our customers.
The Signature Kit starts out with a heavy duty tactical molle backpack that is medium to large in size, with a padded waist belt for comfort. There is a built in, but detachable molle pouch in this bugout bag. It then builds on the pack by adding over forty other components which include a hatchet, blanket, water container, fire kit, first aid kit, flashlight, knife, paracord, rope, tarp, shovel, and many more items.
As with all of our survival bags, we balance utility with weight. This pack is extremely robust and relatively light. It contains everything you need to light a fire, build a shelter, and secure a water supply.
A medium sized stainless steel bowl that can hold six cups (1.5L) of water. Very durable. Can be used to hold water, food, and hot embers. Can be placed directly onto hot embers to boil water or cook food as well.
Elastic bungee cord with carabiner clips at both ends. The cord is 120cm (47") long, and the maximum carrying weight is 10 kg (22 lbs). Carabiners are removable, and may be used elsewhere. It is recommended to use this bungee to organize / attach your blanket to the outside of your survival pack.
Quickly and easily connect and disconnect ropes, chains and straps with this carabiner. Black zinc plating and steel construction provide a working load limit of 250 lbs. Not to be used for climbing. It is recommended that this carabiner be used to attach a canteen / water bottle to your backpack, when it is not being used to perform a heavier task.
This is your basic but essential baseplate compass. It features orienting lines, an additional magnifier (for reading maps, inspecting slivers, etc.) and a lanyard which allows the compass to be worn around the neck or attached to your pack.
This 12oz stainless steel camp cup features a folding wire bail handle with protective leather cover. Cup can be placed directly onto embers or near fire to heat water or food, and the leather handle protects your hands from being burnt when the cup is hot.
Durable, lightweight, and standard size (not tiny) stainless steel cutlery set featuring a sturdy fork, spoon, and knife tethered together with a small aluminum carabiner to prevent the loss of your utensils.
Two pack of light weight and reflective mylar survival blankets. These provide emergency protection from cold weather by reflecting your heat back to you. Alternatively, these blankets can be used as rain ponchos, a shelter roof, for water collection, or as a signaling device. 100cm x 200cm.
Survival ferro rod fire starter kit featuring fling and steel striker on a short length of rope. Throws off extremely hot sparks to start fires in all weather conditions. If you never used a ferro rod before, do not be intimidated: it is fun, and a little badass too!
